I have a 85 C10.My windshield wiper control is with the turn signal switch. I have proper voltage as well as a ground to it. The issue is that when I turn the switch off the blades they dont return to the rest position. Regardless where the wipers are, when I turn the switch off they stay right there. Is it the switch or the motor? Another issue is that the clips that are on the stud that holds the arms to the stud linkage is missing. I guess the previous own broke them off. Any suggestions on the removal of the arms as well? Thanks

Its been a long time since I worked on an 85 but I think the yellow wire on the wiper motor plug is probably not making good contact.. Also make sure the wiper motor has a good ground. You may be able to get a small hook under the arm to hold the catch back for removal?
