Are you staying with 6 lug or changing to five, they used 6 lug til about `68 I believe, the housing are the same width up to `70 but change to five lug in 69/70, any of these will bolt right in, you can use any rear axle up thru ``05 with some minor changes to the track bar, a new kit from POL and perch blocks will need to be added on.

I think 4x4 6 lug to 72
You are correct Goose, althought the 70 on up are 1.5 inches wider they still fit, he will need a track bar conversion.

He can also redrill the rear hubs for five lug and just buy new drums....just a cost thought.
