Stock replacement or hot rod wires??

Have a 64 c-10. Want to put a 5.3 L S engine or late LT1 with 4 speed transmission. Need to rewire entire truck.

Would it be better to use a stock replacement full wiring loom such as American Auto Wire provides and modify it or go to a hot rod wiring loom such as 20-21 circuit loom from a supplier such as E-Z Wiring ?

A lot depends on what extras you add on, the simple run circut our trucks had is fine but don`t offer anything else, if you want to add power extras later you`ll have the circuts in place, a lot of people just roll the extra circuts up and tape off until needed later, things to think about power windows, seats, air, stereo amps, air ride, locks, just a few ideas, its your call. Note the EZ harness I believe does not come with connectors, not sure about the american auto wire you need to check with them, but there are several companies that sell connectors only. The best IMOP is Ron Francis harness, he`s been around sense 1971, he was the electtech for Rod Action magazine in `72 offering a tech section, then started building simple run circuts, now probably the best in the business, they`re kits are modular, new additions if needed are plug right into the fuse box...http://www.ronfrancis.com/ There is also Painless wiring and Haywire wiring, just to ad to the confusion....

Red face E-Z Wiring no wire ends??

Yeah, but for less than $ 250.00, you can buy a bunch of terminal ends to add on is my thought. Sides, it is made here in TEXAS. I'm kinda leaning that way on taping extra wires up for later use. Anybody else want to chime in?
    Please!
