Hello all, I am new to the forum and have question about drop shocks. I recently dropped my 1/2 ton 2wd 1983 C10 truck, it was done by adding 2-1/2" drop spindles in the front and 1-2 coils removed to achieve a ground-to-fender well cut out height of 28". The rear leafs were de-arched to a ride height of 29", which from gathering information the general consensus for stock ride height was 32" in the front and 34" for the rear for a total drop of 4" in the front and 5" in the rear. Are the Bell Tech Nitro Drop 2 shock a wise choice to protect it from bottoming out as is the case in the stock shocks that are currently installed?

Thank You and Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated,
Pat Patterson
